In this collaborative day, you will be shown the full potential of our wonderful new proofing press – specialising in relief printing from surfaces that are set to be ‘type high’ you will make a linocut plate that you set on the bed and print an edition – beautifully illustrating the power of this press to make perfect replica ‘editions’ accurately and at speed.
You will leave with prints of your group work and having had plenty of opportunity to understand the press and its potential across many printmaking surfaces from lino, letterpress, woodblock and photopolymer.
The perfect day to introduce you to a really powerful press in a group where you can learn at a steady pace and see where you can bring this to your current or future work.
