'Cities Look Like Teeth' is an artist’s book chronicling a decade of travels across Europe incorporating laser-cut photography and letterpress-printed text responses. From Copenhagen to Milan, from Lyon to Novi Sad, David toured with bands as a musician, tour manager, driver, merch seller; the book is thus an interrogation of location, memory and chronology. Each city is represented by a photograph taken during a visit and a poetic text-fragment written during or afterwards. Twenty cities are included in the book, but he visited many more.
