I’m two years into my four year apprenticeship at Leicester Print Workshop. I am learning all traditional printmaking techniques but in my practise I commonly use screenprinting, though I’d like to make more use of solar plate, a photo-etching process. My work is photographic as I was studying photography A level when I first came to LPW, but I am looking to develop my drawing skills. I’m at LPW four days a week and I love working with the technicians, admin team and the members and I’m learning all the time. In my spare time I care for my two guinea pigs, Gingerbum and Nibbles.
