I am a visual artist and printmaker based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I use drawing, photography and found objects as a starting point for recording my responses to my local environment. From these, I create prints, artists’ books and three-dimensional works. Printmaking has been my specialist area of interest since my first taste of etching during my degree, from which I then went on to complete an artist residency at Intaglio Printmaker in London. I currently also work at West Yorkshire Print Workshop as a studio technician, course co-ordinator and freelance workshop tutor, so I’m excited about the new skills I will acquire and take with me both into my work as an artist and at WYPW.
