I have been a practitioner and facilitator of holistic creative activities for many years and firmly believe that a person’s life is multifaceted especially when faced with a situation that may have resulted in a reduction of physical mental or social activities.
My creative background has evolved over 40 years since attending Bradford College of Art in the 1970s where I engaged with elders of local hospitals and residential homes with slab pottery and printing workshops. After years of travel and a short time living in Papua New Guinea, I returned to England to resume my interest in working with a variety of community groups of all ages and abilities.
My creative interests range from printing, drawing and crayoning to basic felting / fabric dyeing techniques. I enjoy learning about new printing techniques but my main passion is etching and all forms of relief printing that explore a variety of mark making and textures.
In addition my work teaching younger people to make their own prints and artwork, I am keen to support and encourage younger people to purchase affordable artwork and hope to create a new generation of both artists and art collectors.
