Kate Da’Casto and Naomi Hewson, recent graduates from DeMontfort University
Naomi Hewson and Kate Da’Casto were chosen by Leicester Print Workshop to receive fine art prizes at the 2010 degree show at DeMontfort University in Leicester.
DeMontfort University, along with the Leicester Print Workshop, provides facilities and teaching to ensure the craft of printmaking remains alive and well in the world of fine art practice. Both prize winners displayed huge talent and created striking and beautiful spaces at the degree show. Their prizes comprise free annual membership of LPW and studio time.
An exhibition of Naomi Hewson’s work is currently available to see at the workshop. Naomi is already a regular presence at LPW as she gives her time as a volunteer to support our technician team.
LPW would like to extend its congratulations to both women and to wish them the very best in their careers as fine artists and printmakers.
