Practical Dialogue

Practical Dialogue – a touring exhibition

Practical Dialogue was a project and exhibition created and led by 2012 / 2013 LPW Artist in Residence Sue Baker Kenton.

This project had at its heart a conversation between artists. Three artist educators, based at Leicester Print Workshop, would partner three non-printmaking artists in a _‘Practical Dialogue’._This could have simply existed as a shared experience, but the aspiration was that a new body of work would be made. This new work, using printmaking, formed a touring exhibition which first opened at Embrace Arts in October 2013, before touring to MK Gallery, Milton Keynes and Alfred East Gallery, Kettering in early 2014. The show included screenprints, lithographs and etchings as well as artist books and proofs.
