Passion2Print 2012 – Storytelling in Music
To mark our residency at Oundle International Festival our Passion2Print biennial exhibition has the theme of storytelling in music. The title can be interpreted as literally or abstractly as you wish. The Oundle Brochure has a picture of a singing bird by Sarah Kirby; Peter Clayton is busy working on two approaches, songs by Velvet Underground and Old Music Hall characters; Jay Seabrook has created a collagraph inspired by Sing a Song of Sixpence. Whether you are seeking to capture the feeling certain music provokes or to illustrate the storyline of an opera, whether your influenced by Beethoven, the Beatles or Kate Bush we are looking forward to creating a vibrant group exhibition that shows our visitors our excellence, expertise and creativity.
After Oundle, the exhibition will then tour to Alfred East gallery in Kettering and Embrace Arts in Leicester, finishing on Friday 7 December.
Members can find an application form here.
