How to become a member
Becoming a member of Leicester Print Workshop means choosing to invest in our sustainability; the membership fee helps to ensure that our facilities can be maintained and available for use during our open access hours.
We offer two types of membership – Full Print and Associate Print
Full Print Membership/£48 per annum
- Use of the workshop equipment and facilities
- Technical support from our print technician
- Demonstrations and talks in the Studio
- Regular newsletter

- Specialist materials at affordable prices
- Opportunity to meet and work alongside other practising artists
- Each full print member qualifies for 20% discount off the price of one course (to be used within the 12 months of membership)
- The opportunity to be featured free on the LPW website
Associate Membership/£16 per annum
- Regular newsletter
- Opportunities to exhibit
- Specialist materials at affordable prices
- Access to our framing area (at £3.20 per hour)
- Opportunity to attend events and demonstrations in the Studio
- The opportunity to be featured free on the LPW website
All Full Print members can use the studio during Open Access hours; they pay a sessional rate of £3.20 per hour plus materials.
To become a Full Print Member you must have prior print knowledge and be fully competent in your chosen printmaking technique. All new members receive an induction from the LPW technician team. The induction fee is £10 for screen printing and £5 for other techniques.
If you would like to join but are not wholly confident that you can work alone in the studio we recommend that you attend a course from our current programme or book some one to one time or a bespoke course.
To join us as a Full Print member or an Associate please contact us and we will provide you with an application form. All Full Print membership is approved by the LPW Board.
Non members can use the studio for £5.40 an hour, please contact LPW to find out more about the terms and conditions of non member use.
Experienced printmakers are welcome to hire the studio outside our open access hours.
