Join our Board of Trustees

30th April 2020

We’re looking for three new trustees to join our board in 2020

LPW was established in 1986 as an artist led membership organisation and became a registered Charity in 1993. We are currently managed by a Board of 9 Trustees.

The LPW Board has the overall legal responsibility for the charity and is a productive, dynamic and committed leadership team that supports our continued development and implementation of our strategic plan and staff. With tenure of 3 years (which can be repeated once) LPW has a healthy turnover of Trustees and is now looking for three new members to join the board in 2020.

The board meets four times a year (currently March, June, September and December) and members are expected to attend an annual away day (usually in February). In addition, members are expected to attend LPW events (such as Leicester Print Fair, Leicester Print Festival and exhibition launch events) and to support sub groups applicable to their expertise.

We are specifically looking for Trustees who bring skills, knowledge and experience in:

Finance (who could provide guidance and advice, possibly from a commercial background)
Governance and/or Legal matters
The national or international Visual Arts sector
Higher Education, including De Montfort University and/or Leicester University
LPW Members

LPW embraces equal opportunities and welcomes applications from all sectors of our community including young people, people with disabilities, people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities and retired people.
