In Conversation goes Digital!

23rd April 2020

We’re excited to present In Conversation LIVE and ONLINE for the first time, and to welcome Layered Space artist Rachel Duckhouse for a conversation with LPW Director, Yasmin Canvin, on Wednesday 6th May, 2pm – 3.30pm.

In Conversation is our FREE series of talks with LPW artists, as they discuss their ideas, inspirations and challenges as practicing artists.

Lockdown has meant that we have had to suspend our current programme, but it has given us an opportunity to invite artists that normally wouldn’t be able to take part to join us for a digital version of In Conversation.

Rachel Duckhouse is a Glasgow based visual artist working primarily in drawing and printmaking. She works on research based projects to explore patterns, structures and repeated rhythms found in all sorts of contexts, including landscape, architecture, the flow of water and biological systems. She always begins with sketchbook drawings which often culminate in process led experiments in the print workshop.

She has undertaken artist residencies in Canada, Australia and The Outer Hebrides of Scotland as well as closer to home at the University of Glasgow.

In Conversation is FREE and will take place via Zoom. After the conversation there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

No need to book, to attend the event, click here, and make sure to download Zoom to your computer or phone. It’s free.
