Happy New Year from everyone at Leicester Print Workshop!

Leicester Print Workshop is an open access studio and gallery. We make printmaking accessible to everyone. Our January – 2019 Course Programme caters for all ages and abilities – complete newcomers, those returning to art and printmaking after a break and experienced artists and printmakers looking to refine and practice their skills.

All our courses are suitable for beginners unless otherwise stated, and delivered in small, friendly groups in our award-winning studio. All materials are provided, all you need to bring with you is yourself and some ideas of imagery that you would like to work with. And we can help you with that too!

We can also offer tailored printmaking experiences if you are looking to learn as part of a group or with family or friends. Get in touch for more information and to discuss your idea.

Most of our courses (our short half day taster courses are an exception) will equip you with with the skills and confidence to join LPW as a member in order to continue to print and use the facilities independently.

Our courses can fill up quickly so book now to avoid disappointment! The following courses still have places. You can view the whole programme online here.

This is a fantastic way to explore a variety of printmaking techniques and get a good idea of what suits you. You will work with drypoint, monoprint, linocut, hard ground etching and monoscreen printing techniques.
