22nd August 2018
Look Up is a large scale outdoor exhibition of new work by artist and photographer Farhad Berahman.
Farhad has been working with LPW to create a collection of screenprinted large scale postage stamps that symbolise a home for those who are stateless.
Working with the LPW technician team, and LPW Volunteer Katy Goodrich (pictured below), Fahrad has been learning how to screenprint his artworks, which have been printed and installed in multiple window spaces across Leicester City Centre, including here at LPW. This exhibition is on show until 26th August and is part of Journeys Festival International.
FREE POP UP PRINT ACTIVITIES
As part of the festival, we are running two FREE Pop Up Print drop in activities for children on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th August, from 10am – 1pm. Join us to have a go at screenprinting and create your own interpretation of a postage stamp, inspired by Fahrad Berahman’s Look Up exhibition. More information here.
