Printing Parks Exhibition & Celebration Launch

27th April 2018

Printing Parks is a project designed to increase awareness of the heritage and history of Leicester’s parks whilst providing an active and fulfilling creative experience.

Five local community groups and one Leicester City Centre school have taken part in the project, which follows on from a successful project last year.

Printing Parks celebrates ten Leicester City Parks: Abbey Park, Aylestone Hall Gardens, Belgrave Cemetery, Braunstone Park, Castle Gardens, Humberstone Park, Shady Lane Aboretum, Spinney Hill Park, Victoria Park and Watermead Country Park, using printmaking. Read more about the project here.

The resulting prints will be displayed at the LPW project space from 9th May – 30th June 2017.

Join us to celebrate the project at our launch event on Wednesday 9th May from 4pm – 6pm.
