Cultural Quarter Lates

20th March 2018

We’re excited to be working with our neighbours Two Queens and Phoenix to present a new progamme of late night gallery openings.

Cultural Quarter Lates launches on Thursday 29th March with a number of exhibitions including solo shows by Claire Davies and Liam Proudman at Two Queens, a Both Sides Now film screening at Phoenix and an evening of Icelandic music and prints here at Leicester Print Workshop.

Expect exhibitions to be accompanied by pop up bars, special events and performances, specially selected as part of this collaboration between the three venues.

The event is set to provide audiences who come to enjoy the growing night time economy of the Cultural Quarter at LCB Depot’s popular Canteen event, an alternative artistic offering, whilst still providing the opportunity to have a drink and socialise.

Visitors will be able to take in a minimum of 3 art exhibitions each month, all within a short walking distance of each other. Upcoming events will include exhibition openings, and for the April event, a live performance by drum duo RATTLE at Leicester Print Workshop.
