January - July Programme Out Now
22nd November 2017
Our January – July 2018 paper programme is out now. Pick up a copy to find out more about our upcoming exhibitions and courses.
We’ve got a range of courses coming up, suited to printmakers at every stage of their journey. If you are completely new then our morning taster courses are a great place to start. Choose from linocut card making, wood engraving, block printing, letterpress or printmaking without a press and learn more about how to make images using printmaking.
We are also running our popular morning and evening six week Introduction to Print courses starting in February and June.
Beginner – intermediate courses
We are running day courses in artist practice, etching, collagraph & carborundum, solar plate, photoplate lithography, linocut, monoprinting and screenprinting. Scottish artist Charles Shearer will return to LPW to teach a Collagraph weekend course, and we have weekend courses in drawing & printmaking mokulito, screenprinting and textile printing.
Our Print Clubs are a great way to develop your printmaking and build confidence and skills before joining LPW as a member. We’re running three clubs on the next programme, in linocut, monoprint and etching.
Our Etching Surgeries are a great way for etchers to develop skills with the support of LPW Artist Sue Baker Kenton.
We are very happy to announce our 2018 Summer Schools. Learning in small groups, participants will have plenty of opportunity to receive one to one support as they learn new skills, experiment, focus and develop new work.
LPW at Lakeside Arts, Nottingham
We’re running a series offsite courses at Lakeside Arts at the University of Nottingham to tie in with the exhibitions programme at the Djanogly Gallery. See the full programme here
All of our courses can be booked online using our Shopify store, or we can take bookings by card over the phone or in person using card, cash and cheque if you prefer.
