Leicester Print Workshop shortlisted for the 2016 RIBA Client of the Year award
1st September 2016
We are delighted to bring you the news that Leicester Print Workshop has been shortlisted for the 2016 Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Client of the Year award.
The annual award, supported by The Bloxham Charitable Trust, recognises the role that a good client plays in the creation of fine architecture.
We’ve been nominated by Takero Shimazaki Architects, who transformed our 1970s warehouse into the beautiful, fit for purpose centre for printmaking we now proudly call home.
Earlier this year the building won the RIBA East Midlands Small Project of the Year, and our Project Architect, Jennifer Frewen won RIBA East Midlands Project Architect of the Year.
The Client of the Year Award Winner will be announced at the RIBA Stirling Prize party on Thursday 6 October at RIBA in central London.
Our Director, Lucy Phillips says “This is fantastic news for Leicester Print Workshop and celebrates the very happy and rewarding relationship we enjoyed with Takero, Jennifer and the t-sa team during the refurbishment of our building.”

RIBA is hosting a Great British Buildings event here at LPW on Tuesday 4th October. The event will include a presentation by our architects Takero Shimazaki and Jennifer Frewen. More information about the event and a booking link can be found here.
