Artist Talk: Meet Small Print Selector Wuon-Gean Ho this Thursday

Artist and Small Print International Selector Wuon-Gean Ho visits Leicester Print Workshop this weekend for an evening talk and course.
Wuon-Gean’s three day Japanese Woodblock Printing course is fully booked, but you can learn about the technique, and how Wuon-Gean uses it in her practice at an evening talk this Thursday 14th July, from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
Wuon-Gean’s work, including a series of relief prints and an animation is currently showing at Leicester Print Workshop as part of the Light Line exhibition, in which her work is presented alongside new works by artist and fellow Small Print selector Angela Harding.
Wuon-Gean Ho works with print, artist’s books and animation, and has exhibited widely in juried, invited and solo shows. She has been teaching printmaking since 2007 in London, Italy, China and the USA, and worked for many years as studio technician in East London Printmakers, where she is currently Chair. She is currently studying for a Masters at the Royal College of Art. Since 2013 she has been news editor for the magazine Printmaking Today. Her work is held in the National Art Library at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
